Soulift is a prayer and journalling app. What you write in it is personal, and this page says plainly what we hold, why we hold it, and who else touches it.
Your email address, your name if you give one, and which method you signed in with (email, Google, or Apple). If you sign in with Apple using a private relay address, we only ever see the relay address.
Your prayers, notes, mood check-ins, chat messages, and the answers you gave during onboarding. This is the content of the app and it is stored against your account so it is there on your next device.
Reminder times, whether reminders are on, your language, and your time zone. The time zone is needed so a morning prayer arrives in your morning.
Whether you have an active subscription, which plan, and when it renews or expires. We never see your card details — Apple handles payment and tells us only whether you are entitled.
Which screens you open and which features you use, plus crash and error reports. This includes session replay, which records how you move through the interface so we can find broken flows. Replays capture interaction with the app's screens; we do not record your keyboard or anything outside Soulift.
Your daily prayer and chat replies are written by an AI model. To do that, the relevant parts of what you have written — your onboarding answers, recent prayers, your mood if you set one, and your chat messages — are sent to Anthropic for processing.
Anthropic processes this on our behalf and does not use it to train models. We do not sell what you write, and we do not use it for advertising.

Each is a processor acting on our instructions. Some are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there.
Your content stays until you delete it or ask us to. Analytics and error data are kept for up to 12 months. Subscription records are kept as long as required for accounting.
In the app: Profile → Delete account removes your prayers, check-ins and onboarding answers immediately.
Everything else: email hello@madebydayo.co and we will erase your account and all remaining data, including chat history and analytics, and confirm when it is done. We aim to complete this within 30 days.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our use of it for analytics. Write to hello@madebydayo.co. If you are in the UK or EU and unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Soulift is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will remove it.
If we change this policy in a way that affects how your data is used, we will update the date above and tell you in the app.
