Terms of Use

Last updated 20 August 2026

By using Soulift you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

What Soulift is

Soulift is a personal prayer and journalling app. It writes a daily prayer for you, keeps a record of what you have prayed for, and offers an AI companion to talk to about it.

It is not counselling, therapy, medical advice, or pastoral care. The prayers and replies are generated by software. They are not reviewed by a minister, a counsellor, or a clinician before you see them.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line. Soulift is not a substitute for that, and cannot help in an emergency.

Your account

You need an account to use Soulift, and you are responsible for keeping access to it secure. You must be 13 or older. One account is for one person — please don't share it.

What you write stays yours

Your prayers, notes and messages belong to you. We do not claim ownership of them. We store and process them only to run the app, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising.

Subscriptions

Soulift offers auto-renewable subscriptions. The plans, their length and their price are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.

Use of the app is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Fair use

Please don't try to break the app, work around payment, use it to generate content that is unlawful or abusive, or automate access to it. We may suspend an account that does.

Scripture

Scripture text is supplied by third parties and remains the copyright of its publishers.

Availability

We try to keep Soulift working and available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Features may change or be withdrawn as the app develops.

Liability

Soulift is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending things

You can stop using Soulift and delete your data at any time — see Privacy for how. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
